The “Saturday with the Mayor” held on December 15, 2007 brought in 250 students to meet one-on-one with Mayor Franklin and discuss their ambitions for the future. Students participated in college and employment fairs as well as job readiness and financial literacy workshops. The next “Saturday with the Mayor” will be held in spring 2008.
