WritingIf you realize that text messaging is not enough to communicate with others, then it is time for you to enroll in College-Writing 101. As many of our students contemplate entering college this fall, they will find that cryptic messaging is not adequate enough to clearly convey their ideas to others.

Educators disagree on exactly what is college writing. However, they agree that college bound students need better preparation for college level writing and attributes such as: purpose, audience, style, genre knowledge, depth of reflection and grammar should be reflected in their composition.

A number of our students will get an opportunity to participate in a three week summer writing course that will challenge their ability and expand their creativity to become better writers. This course takes place at AWDA from July 2nd through the 20th from 9 am to 1 pm.

After all is said and done, then can they exclaim "et tu Brute?"
