Sundrea Jackson, a Mayor’s Youth Program senior, will graduate from Carver High School on May 31st. Sundrea will begin her freshman year at Tuskegee University this fall where she will study Elementary Education.

For now, Sundrea will spend her summer teaching children to dance at the Rosell Fann Recreation Center, a paid internship attained through her participation in the Mayor’s Youth program. "The Mayor's Youth Program helped me to choose the college that was right for me and then placed me in an internship where I will get valuable experience," said Sundrea.
